Recent Refit 2011/12

It was decided in 2011 to take advantage of the excellent refit services offered by Monastir Marine Services to totally remove all previous hull coatings to arrive at the original steel work, and as the hull was built using the specialist alloy corton steel (used by HM Navy,) any hull corrosion and degrade was non-existant.

A full indepth (thousand point) hull metal survey had been carried out several years earlier by the previous owner when the yacht had been slipped in Malta and this report showed no degrade, and is available for inspection by the purchaser.

Once the old coatings had been removed, a programme of new coatings was applied, firstly with anti corrosive international yacht sealant, then epoxy coated and a further three coats of International Primacom were applied. A final two coats of Hemple high protection, anti fouling was applied prior to launching in September 2011.

The stern gear was also fully serviced and greased, and her propulsion system polished.
